WINCHESTER: Once again, the Umpqua Timbermen Barbershop Chorus of Roseburg will present its annual Barbershop Harmony Show with two performances at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. March 29 at Jacoby Auditorium, 1140 College Rd.
This year’s presentation is entitled “Jolie Sang ’em” and features songs performed and recorded by Al Jolson.
Featured guest quartet will be “The Dean’s List” of Portland, the 2006 champion quartet of the Pacific Northwest Evergreen District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
The Timber Belles Ladies Chorus and Roseburg’s Vintage Harmony quartet will also perform.
Young ragtime pianist Jaron Cannon is also scheduled to appear.
Tickets for the shows are $10 and are available at Harvard Drugs, Hanson Jewelers, from the Timbermen and Timber Belles members and at the door. Students 20 years and younger with identification are admitted free of charge.
