ART GLASS STUDIO and SUPPLY, 509 S.E. Jackson St., Roseburg — The gallery showcases stained-glass work of Fran Cowan, Pat Daane, Jan James, Terry King and Grant Best. Custom stained-glass art pieces by Jimee Itzkowitz, hot glass work of Bryan McCrea, Sandy Lathrop, Dave Taylor and Carole Lynn Good-Hanson. Blown-glass pieces by Lowell Duell. Classes in stained glass, kiln-fired art glass and hot glass jewelry by Sandy Lathrop. Call for class information. CLAY POTENTIAL POTTERY, 219 Main St., Riddle — Featuring works by Carol Ratliff in horsehair, raku, pitfire, functional stoneware and custom tile murals. Adult pottery classes are offered at various times, days and evenings. Instruction is given in basic wheel-throwing and hand building techniques. Small class sizes. New class sessions for adults are from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursdays, starting March 6 and for kids from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays starting March 8. CAROL YOUNG'S STUDIO OF ART, 1714 Brumbach Road, Roseburg — Highlights original art in several mediums. Open by appointment only. Painting classes are also offered Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon, and courses on sculpting clay are offered from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on the same day. 672-7145.

THE GALLERY AT THE CENTER, 15850 Highway 38 West, Elkton — Featuring works including paintings and quilts by Elkton area artists. Winter hours are 10 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. COUNTRY LADY QUILT SHOP and GALLERY, 611 S.E. Jackson St., Roseburg — Featuring the works of Louise Kindig. Also featured are the following full-sized quilts: "Curves Under Control," a batik quilt by Sylvia Nichols of Roseburg; "Rainbow Triangles on My Black Quilt" by Jane Yurk of Sutherlin; and "An Irish Chain" by Cheryl Malkowski of Roseburg. DOUGLAS COUNTY LIBRARY HEADQUARTERS, 1409 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd., Roseburg. Currently featuring calligraphy from the Valley Calligraphy Guild, Inc. through March 28. DOUGLAS COUNTY MUSEUM, 123 Museum Drive, Roseburg — The museum is displaying an elk and bear diorama, a Dodge Brothers touring car from 1916, American Indian baskets and more. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. 957-7007.

INTERNATIONAL ART GALLERY, 3001 Stewart Parkway, Suite 101, Roseburg — The gallery offers art from contemporaries to works by well-known Christian artists. It also sells porcelain figures, ornaments and memorabilia. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 680-9964.

LISA JOYCE-HILL STUDIO, 327 W. Riverside Drive, Roseburg — The studio, which features Joyce-Hill's work, is open by appointment. 672-2719.

LIZARD PRINTS GALLERY AND ARTISTS' REFUGE, 130 N.E. Exchange Ave., Roseburg — The works of more than 30 artists are regularly shown at the gallery. Currently on display is student artwork from Umpqua Community College, Kevin Clark's wood block prints and 19th-century Japanese wood block prints. Also hosts UCC summer art classes. MORIN GLORY ART GALLERY CERAMIC STUDIO & ROCK SHOP, 214 S. Main St., Canyonville — The shop showcases original arts and crafts in many mediums, including paintings, drawings, wood and stone sculptures, metal, driftwood, ceramics and more. MYSTIC EARTH, 650 S.E. Jackson St., Roseburg — Features American Indian carvings, various prints, handmade dream catchers and drums, stained glass and a variety of hand-crafted jewelry, wands and rattles. OAKLAND MUSEUM, 130 Locust St. — Includes a general store, doctor's office, a bank, parlor, a train station, a pharmacy and other rooms filled with memorabilia from the 1860s to mid-1900s. The museum is open from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily except holidays. No admission charge, but donations appreciated. 459-3087.

PALACE GALLERY, 110 S.E. First St., Oakland — The gallery exhibits work from more than 50 local artists, including framed art, jewelry, metalwork, sculpture and textile work. UMPQUA VALLEY ARTS CENTER, 1624 W. Harvard Ave., Roseburg — Currently featuring the annual all-student art show, “Leap Into Arts,” Douglas County students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to submit one piece of artwork, providing them an opportunity to have their work displayed in a professional gallery setting. Last year’s show featured more than 700 pieces. ART GALLERY AT UCC, Whipple Fine Arts Building, Umpqua Community College campus, 1140 College Road, Winchester — On exhibit beginning April 3 is the work of botanical illustrator Linda Ann Vorobik. Vorobik will lead an illustration workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. April 19 and 20. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment. 440-4692.
