Why chase that little white ball all over?
The reasons are many, depending on whom you ask: the chance to be outside, the exercise, socializing with friends, the competition, beats working or doing home projects.
Douglas County golfers and visitors have the choice of six courses to play.
At this time of year, golfers are challenged by the weather and wet courses. It’s rare for the county courses to be closed down by the harsh elements of Mother Nature, but Oregon golfers do have to be prepared for wet grass, puddles, muddy areas, and slow fairways and greens. There are many who have the passion to play in the rain of Oregon as well as the sun.
