WINSTON: A 22-year-old Springfield woman was injured Sunday in a two-vehicle, roll-over crash on Highway 42 just outside Winston.

The crash occurred when Deanna L. Tramm, 38, of Myrtle Creek, driving a 2002 Ford Focus west near Milepost 71, moved into the other lane as another vehicle passed her on the right around 10:20 a.m., according to an Oregon State Police report.

Tramm swerved, then over-corrected and crashed into the 2001 Ford Explorer driven by Mickey Scott, 24, of Springfield. Scott lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over, according to the report.

A passenger in Scott’s vehicle, Colby L. Williams, suffered possible spinal cord injuries and was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg. She was then transferred to Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. She was no longer listed as a patient there this morning, a hospital spokeswoman said.
