ROSEBURG: The Bureau of Land Management is selling surplus tree seedlings Friday.
From 8 a.m. to noon, excess seedlings from this year’s planting season can be bought at the BLM’s Roseburg District office, 777 N.W. Garden Valley Blvd.
Seedlings, consisting of Douglas fir and ponderosa pine, are 20 cents each. They are 2 years old and should grow well at lower elevations.
The sale is open to the public and will be conducted on a first-come basis.
