Print Comment
MYRTLE CREEK: Oregon State University pharmacy students will be scattered around the state Saturday to offer screenings and services.

The students will visit 10 cities in Oregon, one of which will be in Douglas County. Three students from OSU’s College of Pharmacy will be offering their services from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Creek’s Pharmacy Express, 909 S. Main St. Appointments are not needed.

People can have their blood pressure checked and receive information about smoking cessation, hypertension and poison prevention. Seniors can also receive brochures about how to safely use medication. The students will also offer a brown bag service where people can bring in their medications and ask students questions or have the medications explained to them.

For more information call Pharmacy Express at 863-6383.
