Concert supports UCC winemaking program

Tickets are available for the inaugural Umpqua Wine and Music Experience to occur Sept. 27 at the Swanson Amphitheatre on the Umpqua Community College campus, 1140 College Road.

The American country music trio Blackhawk will perform, with the local band Slowpoke opening the show.

The gates will open at 4 p.m. with food, wine and beer available in the pavilion area above the stage.

Umpqua Wine and Music is set to become an annual event. It supports the new viticulture and enology program at UCC.

There are 311 reserved seats; all the other seating is general admission.

Tickets are $40 for reserved seating, $30 for general admission and $20 for blanket seating.

Ticket outlets include Henry Estate Winery, Associated Buyers and My Coffee or visit tickets.umpqua.edu.
